Virtual Classrooms Overview
This page gives you a quick overview of how my German virtual classroom works. It is a live group course β a real classroom, just online. One teacher (me) and a small group of students, meeting in real time.
If you are looking for one-on-one lessons instead, you can find all the details on my private tutoring page.

Two Course Formats
I offer my virtual classroom in two rhythms, so you can choose what fits your schedule best:
- Berlin π» β relaxed pace, once a week, 90 minutes each. Named after the Berliner “lass mal” attitude.
- Munich π₯¨ β more intensive, twice a week, 90 minutes each. Named after the MΓΌnchner “pack ma’s” mentality.
Both courses cover the same material β just at different speeds.
You can also try the pay-as-you-go option, where you pay per single lesson and know the topic in advance. No commitment, just drop in when it works for you.
For the full lesson plan and the topics I cover in each session, have a look at the course syllabus page.
Schedule & Practical Details
The course is currently at A1 level (beginners).
- Duration per lesson: 90 minutes
- Start time: 10:00 am, Central European Summer Time (UTC+2)
- Total hours to complete the level: 40 hours
- Platform: Microsoft Teams (no extra software needed β works in your browser)
The schedule is fixed for group courses, so you know well in advance when each lesson takes place.
If you are a complete beginner and would like a more structured introduction to German before joining a group, check out the A1 group course page for a step-by-step curriculum.
